Combat Basics
To escape active combat on your turn instead of attacking make an IC post on how your character is going to escape, your intent to escape must be clear. **Note: Escapes must be oocly stated by saying ((My character is attempting to escape))** In group combat for an escape roll to succeed the attackers must not land a hit on you so for example John rolls (Fails) Smith rolls (Fails) Tim rolls (Fails) this is a 3v1 scenario and in this scenario the Escapee has escaped. However if two failed, and one succeeded the defender does not escape and must repeat the process if they are not at 0 HP during the post round which one is trying to escape During the attackers turn, to attempt to stop an escape the attacker may Attack a user as normal and if the attack succeeds the user does not escape. (AOE) are allowed to be used to stop an escape but they must adhere to the AOE rules in place. Upon reaching 0 HP your option for escape is discontinued. Healing Outside Combat HP will not automatically restore after combat.
Familiars, Pets, & Guards Familiars, pets, & guards are merely for storytelling and aesthetic. They do not have separate HP or damage from your own. Example : your npc Is defeated, you're defeated and vulnerable to the consequences. |
Defeat & Capture
Upon reaching 0 hearts players are vulnerable to capture to the opposing party. **Being arrested is not considered personal capture, any attempt to escape would require you to contact a guard. However keep in mind that the more severe your crime, the more compromises you'll have to make. (The 1 hour limit and 30 minutes of no RP does not apply)**
Defeat & Robbing for Currency (Coming soon)
Robbing a Player for Coin Without KO or Combat You cannot attempt to rob someone without combat if they have already noticed you within the last 3 rounds of posts, or if your approach makes you blatantly obvious such as standing in front of them or making a lot of noise. When attempting to rob someone, your first post should make your intention and your target clear in narration (use names). This will let the other player know that something is going on and they need to react. Step 1: Sarah - Intends on robbing John, she attempts to reach into his pocket unnoticed. John - rolls to notice Sarah attempting to rob him (If success) - He notices and can decide what action to take next. If John chooses to initiate combat, he can counter the attempt by attacking first immediately on his turn. If John chooses not to counter during the post turn, the counter is forfeit. If battle is to still take place afterwards initiative rolls would take place as usual. Note: If John continues post order but doesn’t roll to notice, then he has chosen to ignore or fail to notice and Sara can move to Step 2. Step 2: (If Fails) He remains oblivious to the situation. Sarah rolls to see if she succeeds in taking coin (If success) she rolls again to find out how much $ she takes, and may not rob the same person for 12 ooc hours. "Sarah rolls D50, 50/100, she only gets 50% of John’s carried coin." (If Fails) Sarah can give up or repeat the process starting with the intent to try again, Step 1. Note: If John continues to ignore the attempt without reason, please contact John to see if he noticed your attempt. If John noticed, but is simply refusing to comply do not start an argument with John, contact an admin. |
